We assessed and reviewed a large health system’s revenue cycle to determine why cash flow to the entity had dramatically decreased. We performed an assessment of the system to identify key “break points,” which aggregated to significant lost and “delayed” revenues. We were further engaged to deploy changes based on data-driven recommendations to the system. Within six months of deploying these structural and operational changes, the system obtained a return on investment (ROI) of 14 to 1.
