Colleague Support and Involvement

Being a part of the POC affinity group has helped me build connections I would have otherwise not made. It’s been really nice to build relationships with other people of color and talk about issues that we can all relate too. I am excited to see this group continue to grow and make a positive impact on our culture.”

– LaTrice Baker, Colleague Experience Manager, Human Resources

The POC affinity group allows me to express myself in ways that I might not always feel comfortable doing so in my everyday work environment. I’m also able to pick the brains of Senior people of color employees regarding career advancement or handling difficult situations. I’m extremely grateful for this community.”

– Roy Yewah, Associate, Investment Banking

The POC affinity group has created a supportive community where I feel seen and heard. Having a space to explore and discuss cultural differences and similarities with fellow colleagues has been so valuable. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a workplace that celebrates diversity and inclusion.”

– Angie Flynn, Manager - Learning, Human Resources

Being an active member of the POC affinity group has given me the opportunity to connect with talented individuals who possess diverse expertise and life experiences. The group’s discussions have fostered a sense of belonging to something greater than just a practice or a local city office. While the POC group unites us as people of color, it has also highlighted the unique path each person takes. It serves as a reminder that our clients, colleagues, and friends each have their own stories, which we should be mindful of professionally and personally.”

– Zak Shah, Director, Accounting & Reporting Advisory

Being a part of the POC has not only helped me expand my Stout network and get to know others across the firm, but it’s given me a sense of belonging that I haven’t experienced in many other places. I’ve learned so much from other people’s stories and have appreciated the connections formed through our similar backgrounds.”

– Gabrielle Wallach, Associate, Business Valuation

I really appreciate the all-inclusive culture at Stout. The formation of the POC group further enhances the feeling of belonging by providing the ability to build relationships with other people of color and discuss issues we all relate to. I am excited to see this group continue to grow and continue to enhance our culture.”

– Naveed Yahya, Director, Business Valuation
