Naomi Derner

Naomi Derner has over 25 years of experience providing valuation services to both public and private-sector clients. She has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including technology, life sciences, restaurants, food and beverage, construction, and professional services.

Naomi advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on purchase price allocation, business enterprise valuation, fairness opinions, equity valuation, and the valuation of various intangible assets. She works closely with corporate boards; management teams; corporate, securities, and transaction attorneys; and high-net worth individuals in the context of M&A transactions; angel, venture capital, and private equity investments; gift and estate tax planning; shareholder buyouts; charitable donations; recapitalizations; and tax and financial reporting.

Prior to Stout, Naomi served as the Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director at Vantage Point Advisors, Inc. Prior to that, she was the Founder and Managing Director of Derner Valuation Consulting and held positions at Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin, Arthur Andersen, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
